Recoil Aerospace Nears STC Approval for T1000-E Wildfire Suppression System
ANAHEIM, CA – (February 26, 2024): Recoil Aerospace is on the brink of a major milestone as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) nears final approval for the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) of its groundbreaking T1000-E Wildfire Suppression System. Following months of rigorous testing and evaluation, Recoil Aerospace anticipates STC approval for the T1000-E system, signaling a significant advancement in aerial firefighting technology.

The T1000-E system represents a leap forward in aerial firefighting capabilities, offering enhanced performance, efficiency, and reliability in wildfire suppression operations.
Key features of the T1000-E system include:
- Impressive Capacity: With a capacity of 3,785 Liters/1,000 US Gallons, the T1000-E system ensures extended firefighting operations without frequent refills.
- Rapid Fill and Drop: The system boasts a fill time of 35-40 seconds and a drop time of just 5 seconds, allowing for quick and precise firefighting maneuvers.
- Lightweight Design: Despite its robust capabilities, the T1000-E system weighs only 250 kg/550 lbs., ensuring optimal aircraft performance and maneuverability.
- Reliable Power Source: Powered by the aircraft’s AC system, the T1000-E ensures consistent and dependable operation during firefighting missions.
- Enhanced Foam Capability: Equipped with a 30 Gallon Foam Tank, the T1000-E system offers enhanced firefighting effectiveness, especially in challenging conditions.
- Redundant Retraction System: With dual retraction redundancy, the T1000-E system ensures reliable and fail-safe retraction during operations.
